This Juniper was dug up on 5 Sep 2009. Soaked in Superthrive solution over night. I placed it in a tub with well draining bonsai soil (extra grit). Now it will rest in my garden for at least a year before I start to work on it. What a beaut!!

Cypress ( Cupressus? )
Before and after styling.
Cypress ( Cupressus, I think ). Nice tree, but the foliage is difficult to train. I'll give it a try anyway!
Cypress. Before and after. Apparently not a good subject for bonsai

I decided on the windswept style at first, but
wasn't happy with the results.
The design has been changed to the informal upright style. Let's give it a few years to develop.
This is one juniper bush that has created 7 ground layers. Pic taken after initial pruning in Dec 2008.
